The Legend of Dolops

Dolops was a Trojan warrior, the son of Lampus who was himself a son of Laomedon and thus a prince of the Trojan royal house.‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍ This made Dolops a grandson of the earlier Trojan king and a cousin of Priam's sons. He fought with distinction during the battle over the body of Patroclus, one of the fiercest engagements of the entire war. Dolops attacked Menelaus and managed to pierce his shield with his spear, but the weapon did not penetrate the armour beneath. Menelaus then counterattacked and Dolops was also engaged by Menelaus's companion. He was ultimately killed in the fighting around Patroclus's corpse. His royal blood offered no protection against the brutal reality of combat before Troy.
